It has been a couple of years since my South African adventure and I can still clearly remember the mix of trepidation and excitement of the game drives. Witnessing the overwhelming power of nature was humbling and incredibly empowering. The need to control what is around me instantly disappeared. All my senses became fully engaged, body and mind connected. Everything was clear. All made sense. I was present.
